I can not remember what month, day, or year it was because my husband and I come to Vegas sooooo much that I have lost count, but on one of our visits we had to run in one of the stores for cover because a nice evening stroll quickly turned into a duck for cover from..... SAND!! It caought us totally by surprise. It was the last thing we were expecting and no one ever told us anything about sandstorms. Being from Florida the most we worry about is Tornadoes and Hurricanes. I had just gotten my hair done just for our vacation just to have it full of sand, but I managed to get most of it out and enjoy the rest of our trip.

I have been to Vegas several times but never saw the sand. I'll say this if they get rain, don't drive down by Harrahs, it always floods by their rear entrance.
