Stardust to dust

The Stardust Hotel, one of the few remaining old-skool hotels on the strip, has closed its doors for the last time, ready for the pyrotechnicians to move in and blow it up! Opened in 1958, the Stardust used to be the best hotel on the strip, but that was many years ago. Since the new super-hotels arrived in the early ’90s, the Stardust has lagged way behind.

The Paris Hotel in Las Vegas is a glorious themed Las Vegas Hotel modelled, unsurprisingly, on Paris. Featuring and half size Eiffel Tower that’s over 500 feet tall, giving commanding views over the Las Vegas Strip, the Paris Hotel is situated opposite The Bellagio, providing glorious views of The Bellagio’s Fountains.
The Paris Hotel is well worth a visit if you’re saying in Las Vegas, and well worth a stay if you’re in a romantic mood.

The Wynn hotel in Las Vegas is a stunning state-of-the-art 5 star hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Costing $2.5 billion, the Wynn Hotel and Casino exudes quality, style, and greenery, which is a hugely welcome sight, given that it’s in the middle of the desert!
With a beautiful top-class golf course, supercar display and Ferrari dealership and stunning waterfalls and greenery, the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas simply has to be on your list of great places to visit in Las Vegas. Better still, if you can afford it, book a room at the Wynn!

Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas - Review

The Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas is a large hotel that’s actually quite rare for Vegas - it’s old! Well, built in the 1960s anyway, which for Vegas is positively prehistoric! Circus Circus may not be the first hotel that springs to mind if you’re planning a trip to Vegas, but it’s rooms are large and clean, there’s a huge 5 acre Adventuredome theme park, and best of all, it’s on the strip and it’s cheap!

Circus Circus Adventuredome Theme Park

For kids, nothing beats the Circus Circus Adventuredome Theme Park on the Las Vegas strip. Ok, so maybe the rollercoaster at New York New York or the rides at the top of The Stratosphere may come close, but the Circus Circus Adventuredome is a full sized theme park.
Imagine being a kid and stepping out of your hotel room knowing that only a few short steps away lies a a complete theme park with roller-coaster, pirate ship, log flume, and loads of other attractions. Brings a tear to the eye!
